ISRO not launch satellite only for DTH, ISRO have to fulfill thousands of things via such SATs offcourse these SAT are important for defence purpose and many more things. ISRO has thousands of works to do.

Completely agree. The satellite is not for commercial usage. It's for government use. They may use it for defense and other government activity.

That's the reason it's orbit is vastly different as its not related to general public.

Yes, now the sat is dead. Hence I mentioned it was used
