The Haryana government will felicitate yoga teacher Ramdev, the brand ambassador for promotion of yoga and ayurveda in the state, on Tuesday in Sonipat, a senior minister said.
"A felicitation programme will be organised in the honour of Ramdev on April 21 in Sonipat where he will sign an agreement for promoting yoga and ayurveda in the state," Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said.
Vij said that during the felicitation function, Ramdev, who has been given status equal to that of a cabinet minister, will also give live demonstration of various yoga 'asanas and pranayam' for motivating people towards yoga.
