Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday donned the hat of Sholay's iconic character Gabbar Singh to drive home his point on illegal sex determination, saying he wanted to create a situation where doctors would chase away those who approach them for such purposes.

"Mein aise halaat paida karna chahata hoon ki door door tak jab koyee ultrasound centre jayee to doctor kahein bhaag ja naheen toh Anil Vij aa jayaga (I want to create such a situation that if anyone approaches the ultrasound centre for illegal sex determination test the doctor asks to run away or else Anil Vij will come)," Vij posted this message on Twitter.
