I hope you remember there was fight going on between BCCI and Neo for Indian Cricket matches telecast rights.
That time they take help of Star and hence star bidded high amounts to keep Neo away from bidding and hence due to lack of sports event Neo is almost dying.
STAR was behind Nimbus to launch NEO because STAR don't like to see the involvement of ZEE in Cricket Production first ICC screws ZEE for Broadcasting despite of having highest deal compare to STAR and because of both parties fight SONY gets benefited then again ZEE start lobying BCCI to gets their right they partnered Nimbus because Jagmohan Dalmiya screws Shubhash Chandra's deal he were keen to help Sharad Pawar when he won ZEE start considering All Izz Well but some way Nimbus parted way and claims BCCI's rights and launch NEO according to insider it was STAR who help NEO tats a reason TATA(SKY was the first to launch NEO and dishtv was the last one but cheap people were always cheap when BCCI gets fedup with NEO they slammed them and STAR managed to get the deal and this will helping them to screw ZEE (dishtv) more
I am quite sure BCCI is behind STAR SPORTS revolution before ESPN INDIA were quite busy to show documentaries on Gavaskar and now STAR SPORTS INDIA are almost busy on Cricket only and BCCI guys invested our money on different kind of leagues by the name of STAR SPORTS.
Star has strong content and hence they demand more from operator, any operator can survive without star channels? No and this fact is well known by star so they are more more arrogant day by day
Finally you guys are understanding the real problem we have a long past history of STAR and until unless if I&B and TDSAT continues such attitude towards STAR then be ready may be your operator will not able to sign a right conclusive deal with this FDI based broadcaster and ultimately we users have to suffer.
