I have heard that some channels have 5.1 Multi Channel Audio. Must be you are talking abt that. Its like Stereo just that Stereo is 2 - Channel.

But even Siti and Dish doesn't provide any DD audio 5.1 for Zee channels.

Dish TV TV is providing DD sound for Zee tv SD channel but I did not check it personally whether it is original 5.1 sound or not.2 nd thing Dolby digital and 5.1 are same thing.Zee TV is not a official partner of Dolby so they are not using Dolby name but they are giving the same sound.

It's Dolby Pro Logic.

Prologic 2 is advance sound means will give 7.1 out put from 2 channel.

Bro, Digital Cable has lots of bandwidth. hence that's not the case. HD means quality. What else is HD ??? DO u get SD quality in HD ???

HD means resolution.if it is 1080P or 1080i then it will be valled full HD thats it.there is no meaning for it.

Came back from a trip couple of days ago and had no time last couple of days.

Pleasantly surprised to find newly added HD channels in Hathway Hyderabad.

However, since my package was taken last month, the newly added channels are appearing as blank. I'll have to wait for renewal time to know more. 12 days to go.

Guys, yesterday many times power went in my area. My STB was working fine till yesterday night. Today morning I checked any there STB has no power LED. I tried putting off and on the switch and its not turning ON. I tried putting the plug in a different socket and same thing no power light.

What can be the reason for the STB to get in such a situation ??? I feel it has been spoiled due to voltage or some power issue. Can it get spoiled from cable wire ??? I mean can current flow from cable wire. This never happened before, its the first time.

My STB is a year old, guess out of warranty. Will I get a replacement ???

Seems your STB damaged because of voltage issue.
