TP is Transponder (data like frequency, Symbol rate, QAM)

I have seen this in Entry Point. In my STB there it ranges from S21 to S39 and then there are some U30s and few more.
So how does it make any difference? I am always in S21 transponder.

I have a question about transponder here. I am in Hyderabad region so do I have to select Transponder S21 always? I have selected other transponders too, for some there is a signal lock and for some it doesnt lock?
In Hyderabad, does everyone has to use S21 only?

Well if the STB came with that setting then I say that its the default setting, and we must not go to change it. Only if technician comes and changes it ot hathway changes it from their end.

S21 is for everyone in Hathway irrespective of the region. There is no way to know the number of transponders in S21.

Hathway HD and HD PVR are MPEG4 boxes
