Hathway is screwing with its customers

I'm so fed up with Hathway, Animax is the only reason why I haven't dumped it otherwise I would've switched to DTH a long time ago. Now they removed Animax too. Of course I can pay for it separately but dealing with these hathway people is not so easy.Last year in October when they removed star group of channels, My father went to their office and payed money for those channels.When he got home they were not activated. I called them and they said that it will be activated in one hour.I checked after an hour still not activated. I called them again they gave me the same answer.This happened for five days me calling and them giving the same reply.Clearly they were screwing with me.I don't know why they're doing this.I don't know why they lie and cheat their customers.I don't know their agenda.They are only trained to harass their customers.Finally I got fed up and stopped calling them.I didn't go to their office because I don't like begging and they know exactly what they are supposed to do but they don't do it anyway.I lost my money and they didn't activate.My LCO is also a very rude man.When I complain to him he acts dumb.He nicely collects 200 Rs. every month but he didn't reduce the fees when Star group of channels were removed.


I wanted to switch to DTH but Animax is not available in DTH.Now Animax is gone too.Today my father went to their office to pay for animax.They said that he doesn't have to pay for it separately and that MSM channels will be activated as part of the base package after submitting KYC form.But Hathways website says that MSM channels will be available only a la carte.My LCO already took my STB details long back for KYC form.I'm also getting those 100 channels that are activated only if KYC is submitted.Then why are they asking for KYC again and why are they lying that MSM channels will be part of the base pack when it's clearly mentioned in their website that it is not so. They are confusing their customers. When I complain to my LCO about not getting channels he tells me to ask the people at the head office.When I complain at the Head office they tell me to ask my LCO.Both the parties are screwing with me.What the hell is going on? Why the hell can't they activate even after paying? What the hell do I have to do to get them to activate the a la carte channels?

Hey bro. Welcome.

It seems just because of one channel you have ruined your TV viewing experience. But sad part is that Hathway or any other MSO works like this.

They have still didn't came out from old age days and assume that they are more demanding and people outside have no other options.

write a strong mail to trai or to other concerned respective govt. authorities.

it is with every other mso. i have used DEN in the past ( 31st july 2015 ) n then i returned it back to the local cable man n collected 500 rs from them also for mine remote , stb n AV cables.

den also did the same thing. in 2012 with zee networks . 2013 - with msm channels. 2014 - star india channels where most of the channels were put on a la carte basis.

so u can also disconnect ur connection or else write a very strong mail to trai.
