SD users can not bear these premium channels as their topup will be more costly then other channels.

Infact HBO is also targeting the elite class of users.

So Airtel should not ignore HD feed, As it is more necessary for them

So HD feed is must for every DTH of these channels.

Whether they add SD feed or not.

I feel that HD feed will also be added because these channels are going to premiere a lot of new movies and HBO had clarified it long back that both these channels will be niche. So definitely charges will be high.

Also both these channels will be ad free. And airtel is already suffering the loss of ESS HD channels. So they will surely add the HD feed of both the channels

From image of this post it is clear that the channels they have mentioned are line up with SD channels.

So no update still about HD feed.

May be the package pricing would be pending. There are several conditions put forward by broadcaster while offering a niche channel. Some want it in all packages and some want it as add on.

Airtel always do things according to their favorable conditions. So, let's wait and watch. It too early to assume that HD won't be added

From LCN 190 English movie channels starts and goes up to 198.

They have announced that these two HBO channels will be available on LCN 199, 200 so its high possibility that they might be in SD, because LCN lineup with SD channels.

But one slight positive is there that from channel number HD channels LCN starts.
So might be in HD feed also but chances are very very low.
