after going through mid level packages, I found d2h to be ineffective hence opted south platinum HD pack.

Oh Man, you are screwed now. Since the packages are not oermanently discontinued and available for existing customer. So, you fight for you choice citing reason that you were not allowed to opt your desired package due to their own boundation.
If you fight it better, you will definately get it. So, let the free offer is over and then go for it.

Still I have another option to return I think by making use of Ebay Claim as I bought online from them. Ineed to try that to get the refund (which is possible within 30 days). Let me try that also if it is more costly.
