HELP Hd box in crt tv

D2h is replacing my sd box with a hd box with 1yr warranty free of cost. But I at the moment have a lg 21inch crt tv. Would it be fine or troublesome using hd box?

Thanks. I guess I won't be able to watch hd channels i guess. Anyway there won't be any difference between sd n hd though.. Asking just for curiosity

You will be able to watch HD channels too via composite port but quality won't be like HD. But again aspect ratio will be differentiating factor.

I was using RDTV HD STB in my 21" CRT TV for more than 6 months using AV Code. There was no difference between SD and HD at that time.

I Think PQ will be improoved in HD STB as Its upscaling [some one said earlier] the SD Channels Picture. the SD PQ is better always in HD STBs.

I got sd box replaced with hd box. Pq is more or less same both on sd n hd channels. anyway usb recording will be available in near future. So it may be useful. Above all I got it for free so no issues
