HELP [Help] Switching to AirTel from Tata Sky

Only few movies are available not all movies are available in hindi. For example only 5 movies out of 50 are available in hindi. Rest all are english.

You will b screwed with interface of TS and Videocon. TS interface is far better and user friendly than d2h's..

For DVR don't choose Videocon. but I don't suggests moving from tata HD to Airtel HD because both are wonderful user friendly products.
Cost wise Airtel is not costlier than tata.

Need to clarify you a bit here.

Series recording is not what you might be thinking. It's like you fix a time for recording and it will record automatically.

It will night make it series automatically according to EPG.

it's all about money .. can u spend 7k+ money for extra channels ? basically if you looking for more HD channels . then i will recommend you to switch to airtel as i don't see any hope tatasky will add hd channels soon . mostly they will add regional & some sd channels first.

i don't think u miss so much with HBO , STARTTV, and other English. most of this movies you can easily download from internet . and if u looking for eng serials or season . they are available in SD/HD on net even before it release in Indian ENG channels

i think series recording of serial is possible according to EPG only problem is that it also record repeat telecast too, correct me if any thing wrong.

yes that $uck . if i put "tarak mehta ka .. " it will download all sunday episode + repeat telecast . i need to remove them from "booked" section more often

PS: Regarding serial recording, are you guys referring to Videocon d2h only or all DTH?

Krishna could you please inform your source that audio sounds horrible
low freq sounds terrible.
