Not resolved...it's default setting by tata sky...

Go to organiser, system settings, sound settings and reduce the volume to minimum and save your prefernce.

Go to settings then user settings then sound settings select the volume which you want and then save it pressing blue button

you can set the fav of max 20 channels per user fav.

We can set max 50 channels as favourites.

Why the signal quality is so different on every channel, is it effects picture quality?

No its not effect picture quality.

Each channel has different strength because of its tp allocation.

Jon Snow Congratulations on your new connection!

I'm thinking of switching to Tata Sky HD from D2H. Only reason being buggy STB which takes ages to switch ON and sometimes needs a restart Poor old chap!

My needs essentially similar to yours: English Ent. (Movies + Generic + Lifestyle), Kids (Disney Channel, Nick & Disney XD are more than sufficient), Sports, English News Channel, Kannada Regional pack with some Hindi Channels.
Let me know how much this new connection cost you and your package details.
