News History TV18 to present biopic on ‘Houdini’

History TV18 will showcase the power of illusion by presenting a new show ‘Houdini’, a dramatised biopic of the world’s greatest illusionist and escape artist who cheated death multiple times. The show launches on 1 October. It will air at 9 pm every Thursday and Friday. ‘Houdini’ follows the tales of Harry Houdini from his humble beginnings at circus sideshows to sold-out concert halls, and how Eastern European immigrant Ehrich Weiss rose to become a household name across the globe – Houdini.

Whatever it is but shows on a channel which calls ourself History is suddenly not appropriate at all, TV18 + A+E should works on bringing eye opener documentaries then these shows let them launch another channel but don't spoil the space from a channel like this.

This is a show about the person who lived and attained a great fame for his magic and escape method so this is also a part of the history.

Yesterday first time I glued towards History for 1 hour after very long time as they a showed documentary on Subhash Chandra Bose "Between Gandhi and Hitler" it was a eye opener documentarty, I believe people of India needs to learn about our history from these documentaries.
