Why dont you contact them right away via mail or call? You can just ask them what exactly can be done. Whether you will decide on it will be completely your decision. At least you will get to know the options you have before you.

Yeah contacting them via mail and STB complaints form is quite easy and peaceful.

Better directly contact them and sort this out. But I think they merge only in case of mirror connection and packages. And even if mirror pack is applied, it would be cheaper and you gonna save some money.
