Sorry but I am against such norms no one stopping any one to do business if other group wants to do business in Cable and DTH they're welcome such norms was made just to screw ZEE as SUN's SCV already screwed by ARASU Govt. based Cable and DMK power in TM is over so such ruling only effect ESSEL Group. If a Indian have a money wants to invest then whats the problem we welcome FDI and that FDI based group invest every where then its welcome and if a Indian Firm invest every where then against competition, we can compete only if we have massive competition screwing competitors means we can't beat them so such foolish norms will help us. If tomorrow Airtel wants to manufacture Mobile so does we screw them does we stop them Idea having our Mobile Brand so whats the problem Indian can't do business of his liking if ESSEL Group participating in a wrong doing then we have CCI and TDSAT and kind of Courts justice will be surve there screwing business will only create Un secureness against Indian Firms they feel hand cuft also we're not thinking about Millions of peoples who're enjoying Siti Cable and dishtv and I can guarantees you guys 20 % to 30 % peoples purchase their connection only because of ZEE also what about their employees we all know when Reliance took over Network 18 they fired almost 300 employees so what about that we just watching things with selfish eyes. Such ruling is only to effect ESSEL Group because they're the Biggest establish Indian Media Tycoon left in the Country.

Again you are mixing two different things. FDI is a complete different topic.

It's Indian companies who are demanding FDI from government for whom you are advocating.

Investment of foreign money into India will not only be beneficial for companies but contribute to financial score of our country too.

Govt was against FDI But it's Indian industrialist and companies who want FDI.

And everywhere FDI has created more jobs and profit for Indians.

Carriage fee

Over the carriage fee charged by the DPOs from broadcasters to put their channels on their network, TRAI has suggested them to publish the access fees for it.

“The charging of the access fee should be on non-discriminatory basis,” said TRAI.

It also called for distinguishing between the DTH and cable TV providers, Multi System Operators (MSOs) and Headend in the Sky (HITS). It suggested DTH would have a national market, while the latter would have State-wise.

“Relevant market for DTH would be the entire country and for MSI/HITS — State,” TRAI said.

Means if Star Sports is charing 1 million per year as carriage fee to Tata Sky then they will have to charge same amount to Dish, d2h and all DTH

Non Popular, FTA Broadcasters gave carriage fee to DTH and MSOs for space, paid channels always claim package deal or RIO Based Money in this case if STAR SPORTS claiming Rs. 40 for their channel from TATA(SKY and dishtv selling STAR SPORTS at Rs. 25 so with this ruling How Acche Din Will Come for dishtv users ?

There will be some hikes, there will be some reductions but atleast no DTH will have excuse and much to talk about carriage fee.

and hold on this regulation talks about carriage fee being charged by DTH not broadcaster. So, my previous statement was incorrect.

Now, Dish , d2h and everyone will have to charge same amount as carriage fee from any broadcaster.
