Star Sports have only Brodcasting rights, production rights are not with Star Sports,

For the next eight years, International Cricket Council has sold the broadcasting rights to the Indian broadcasters. This agreement is about the
ICC events between 2015 and 2023 but the ICC
hasn’t told about the money involved. These broadcasting right are sold to Star India and
Star Middle East. On Sunday, ICC Business
Corporation (IBC) took that decision in their meeting.
ICC will conduct 18 events during these 8 years.
These include: two ICC Champions Trophy Events
of 2017 and 2021, two T20 World Cups of 2016 and 2020 and two ODI World Cups of 2019 and 2023. The council received 17 bids for this broadcasting
agreement and ICC has awarded the combined
audio and visual rights in this agreement. ICC told
that the money involved in this agreement is more
than the previous agreements but it didn’t show the
actual bid. Also, there is no mention of broadcast production rights of the host country which will be
decided later. This process of selling starting in July this year and
tenders were released later. The council organized
two bidding rounds.

Anirudha and Mazi bro what you say now?
You got confuse because of other platform where people saying that Star Sports Production, ICC Production this and that

ICC produce only documentaries and ICC Cricket 360.

Star Sports produce matches for ICC. And all broadcasters around the world relays as it is. ICC always sets the standardization what exactly it should be, final call is always with ICC only.

So whether its ICC Website, StarSports.com, Hotstar.com, Ten Sports Pak, PTV Sports, Sky Sports, SuperSport................ will show the same production. Because tournament is of ICC so graphic will be like ICC from Star Sports or a company which having production rights.

Same happens with IPL, IMG Production holds the production rights and all around the World its relayed as usual. I am quite sure after 2017 everything goes to Star.

Same with India host match, BCCI produce matches of themselves and its relayed as usual all around the World.

Same with SL, WI host matches as Ten Sports produce matches for the board, SuperSport produce matches for SA and Zim's home matches. SkySport NZ produce matches for NZ board.

Only Star Sports who push themselves for India's tour match of Aus and Eng. Otherwise Channel 9 and Sky Sports holds the rights of Production for resp. Board.

If you guys saw India's Home Matches till 2009 at Neo Sports. L Shivaramakrishnan use to say one line "This is Nimbus Sports Production for BCCI". When BCCI suspended the license of Nimbus, sports production rights was also involved on this. Thiwani owner of Nimbus was filled 3 cases on BCCI and Production was one of them.

If you guys saw matches after 2004, DD was not only Broadcaster of the home series but was to manage production too because BCCI didn't allow Zee Nimbus to produce matches for BCCI and broadcasting rights. Though during 2005 they allowed and if you saw DLF cup which was held in Hong Kong, Zee Nimbus was production and broadcasting company. That time dishtv bought and commercialize the Active Sports Service. Though Zee Nimbus was arranging the match but since its for BCCI they forcefully asked to add BCCI logo at left hand screen at top. Nowhere days its a part of all BCCI produce matches.

Same thing happens with IPL and CLT20 matches, production company have to put the logo because league officially licensed by governing council of IPL and CLT20 resp.
