So what we were discussing yesterday was true............
I think this is true......because we know that the owners of BCCI are actually a bunch of politician & industrialist crooks whose interests lies only with money...........
I think they have one more partner in all this & that is the broadcaster, STAR.........whose
profit depends on Team India's success.
Star has invested thousands of crores of rupees in acquiring cricket rights. Now in order to get maximum returns, they need Team India to win many matches & world cup also........
Because if Team India is winning then viewers are most likely to stick to watching Star Sports......which would increase TRP rating of the channel & then only STAR can command higher ad rates for spots.
So it seems STAR is ready to achieve all this by hook or crook & also made BCCI big shots partner to pressurise ICC & others to get whatever is needed for Team India's victory......
I think there are many stack holders in all this including players like Dhoni & umpires.......
And if some controversy errupts, then small fish like Sreesanth are sacrificed.
All these schemers are actually hurting cricket in long term. Because people can see on the TV replay what actual is happening even though sometimes I think, STAR is avoiding replays of controversial decisions.
I think all this will lead to people slowly getting away from cricket & other sports would gain........
Its not that everything is clean as far as other sports are concerned........there are black marks on the canvas...........but in case of cricket, the canvas itself is being turned black..........

Kamal criticised the on-field umpires' decision to call a no-ball after Rohit Sharma was caught off a full-toss during the gameagainst Bangladesh in Melbourne on Thursday.
"The ICC has noted Mr Mustafa Kamal's comments, which are very unfortunate but made in his personal capacity," Richardson said in an ICC statement. "As an ICC president, he should have been more considerate in his criticism of ICC match officials, whose integrity cannot be questioned.
"The no-ball decision was a 50-50 call. The spirit of the game dictates that the umpire's decision is final and must be respected."
