But still some areas where digitisation is completed consumers are not given their choice of channels packages its the cable wala who only gave them the set top box but still he hasn't activated it yet and is giving channels on his own basis

Means what MSO s not providing signals.

Yeah. I think package and a la carte are only on website and paper not in reality.

Instead they are providing their own set of channels and charging for it.

Then it would be illegal signaling from MSO or LCO end.

Yeah. That's normal even today in city like Mumbai which has already been declared digitized.

Yeah. Those were the biggest scammers to downlink even those channels which do not have permission and then distributing it.
