The India Government is planning to start a secure phone system for Intra Governmental classified communications from June 2012.
The government has developed secure phone system which will provide end to end encryption for security of the communication.
These phones are proposed to be allotted based on the requirement of the user Ministry/Department/State Government in consultation with Ministry of Home affairs, according to Milind Deora, minister of State of Communications and Information Technology.
