Yes they & Axis both take photo of document and the person with tab and scan via camscanner....

Yeah. E-KYC is yet to be used till now. It's currently being used only by Registrar offices for property registration

And vodafone announces instant activation of prepaid and postpaid sim when bought from its 4500+ brand stores wef 24th August 2016. You need to know your aadhaar number and give your fingerprint for validation. That's it.
