Here are the details behind 6 monitors on one computer.
Stands: I purchased 3 DS100 dual-monitor vertical desk stands made by Ergotron to hold the six monitors. I bought these through Dell and paid about $250 each for them.
Could I have got them off of Amazon cheaper? Probably but I still don’t care for the whole Amazon experience I had a while back and I’m still bitter about it.
Monitors: Up until now I was using the two 24 inch Dell wide screens you see in the middle of the pics above. In my old setup I was just running them side by side and that worked for a couple years but I needed more.
The two 24 Dell monitors are model numbers 2405FPW and 2407WFP.
The 4 side monitors are Dell professional series 19 inch wide screens model number 1909WPLHD (flat panel only no stand). The cost of the 19 inch wide screens was about $250 each.
Video Cards: The 4 side 19 inch monitors all run off of a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 420 and the two 24 inch Dell wide screens run off of a NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (one HDMI and one DVI).
