guys today a very senior person from tata sky head office in delhi visited my home as for 2 months i was facing a stb issue and which was not being resolved by the area service team. anyways i asked him what r tata sky' s plans to add new channels and why daily maintenance activity happens, he told me that new dishes r being installed at the delhi uplinking centre to increase channels.
now the question arises that what r these new dishes needed for as gsat 10 ia ta same orbit as insat 4a so no new dishes required to uplink signal, it can b done by current dishes
so may b they r preparing for new channels from different satellites of broadcasters whose channel they do not carry right now or another possibility is that tata sky is taking over d2h and they r installing new dishes to cater to d2h customers an uplink downlink signals from st2 and other signals required .
also another interesting thing is that d2h now has a tata customer care number 9250092500

guys is there a surprise in store. u never know?

 What kind of logic is this ??

They had taken Tata Connection may be bcoz their Telecom license has been cancelled and winning a bid is not in their hand.

It doesn't matter which circle number was it. What matters is connectivity with other operators .

Tata Sky seems to be very aspiring to send Senior Level Employees to repair STB instead of sending a qualified engineer.

And 9250092500 is one of the Customer care number. Tomorrow if they take another Reliance Number for customer care, don't say that Reliance and Tata are jointly purchasing Videocon d2h. :aetsch:

Anyways leaving this fun apart, here are some hardcore facts Mr. dino29

As per I&B and TRAI guidelines, No DTH Operator or MSO in India can buy majority stakes of each another. Reliance Digital TV was very much keen to buy out Digicable but could not make it out due to Indian Cable Regulation and later Sahara bought its majority of Stakes as it was not into Cable TV business.

So, This reasons as well as prediction cited by you are baseless and I request Chief to close this thread asap.
