you have to get the new one or try to tweak into your audio settings on your TV,disable Dolby ,enable stereo or pcm .

Yes, instead of DD + via HDMI i have set to DD, rest all same

I have HT, setting it to PCM will not give me DD audio, Also no audio come bro, PCM also doesnt come.

However if i change the Audio settings in TV from Audio System to TV speakers i get sound from TV speakers. If i set that to AUdio system, i dont get any sound

Another thing, i have Sony Bravia LED and Sony HT, both have HDMI CEC (sync) feature, so when i turn on the TV, HT also turns on, same way if i turn OFF, HT also turns OFF.

Now HT doesnt turn ON along with TV, i have to manually put on. Also as soon as i remove the STB HDMI connection from TV, the HT-TV sync gets enabled.

so the issue might be with the stb only

Yes, technicolor HD STB works fine with Sony HT IV300. I dont know why this HD STB is giving issues, All cables and settings are same
