Jagmohan Dalmiya's re-election as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India on March 2 was an event in itself.

Here was a man who, after being at the helm of Indian as well world cricket and setting in motion the processes that led to the BCCI becoming the rich, all-powerful body it is today, was expelled by the BCCI in 2006 over charges of misappropriation of funds during the 1996 World Cup. Then, in January 2014, he hinted that he wasn't interested in getting too involved with the BCCI again, even if he had accepted the position of interim president in the wake of the 2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing scandal. But here he is. Almost 75. But back in the saddle.

All the politicians have made cricket a cozy club which is affecting world cricket as well....
Removing these people & bringing elected sportsmen at the helm may solve the problem.
But the problem is - Is Govt ready to force bring change in sports bodies...

Problem is that no former cricketer having guts to run cricket, they always wants to live their life in the pocket of Corporate Cricket.

They thinks that Being Voice of BCCI, Secretary of BCCI, Community Member of BCCI is more beneficiary for them then heading BCCI.

These former cricketers are happy to remain as a tool box of Corporate peoples and making them head would be blunder like last time Gavaskar was running IPL for name sake and signing papers then at free time was giving commentary on stupid Extraaa Innings T20.
