I read somewhere in Entertainment Forum
then its not a good news.
I think if they launch a MSO then it will not come to on Pan India level as many LCNs have already tied up with their respective MSOs and the deal has been made for multi years.
e.g. - in my area, LCN has tied up with DEN MSO for 5 years so before 5 years they can't change it.
They are already testing ftth in many places for past 1 yr. And with ftth it means broadband, dth, telephone. JioTV and JioCinema will be part of STB which will be android based. If you noticed there are no channel number in jio TV app that's because STB will have a remote which will use voice recognition to change the channels. And UI of JioTV app is also primarily designed for wide screen devices example a TV.

You mean two SIM on LYF handsets?
FTTH is the future. They can't rely on wireless internet for long, affordable unlimited internet and services through fiber to every area is the only solution.
So u mean Jio MSO will be a strong competitor to DTH.
What Prateek Marwadi bro has said that LCO are tied with MSO for some years is correct. For LCO to cancel the deal and join Jio will be expensive unless JIO gives some offers that will benefit LCO. As they will have to change several STB again.
If Jio MSO works via FTTH then it will be good. If it uses Internet or wireless technology then it will not be good.
IPTV also has been a failure as BSNL already stopped and airtel also has closed down its services.
So only DTH and Digital cable are the current players in the market
