Use data usage monitor of android to check usage..

checked that there only i realized that Jio is cheating. Biggest cheating is that they are not resetting the counter at midnight.

and also activation time logic is not working like you explained.

e.g if my sim was activated at 10-Jan-17 8:01 AM and i consumed 1 GB at 12:22 PM then data is locked for next 24 hour and reset again from 11-Jan-17 at 2:21 PM i.e next day. Now if we use 824 MB on 11-Jan-17 till 8:00 PM and stop data usage and again start downloading on 12-Jan-17 at 01:00 AM, it adds remaining 200 MB to earlier 824 MB and data limit is exhausted because time 1:00 AM comes under the 24 hours from 11-Jan-17 at 2:21 PM and this is why Jio needs to be avoided now.

Instead of using mind so much in usage of Jio it would be better If we take care of such mathematics in our profession or savings. That will be more beneficial.

Then I'll consider myself lucky, as my counter is working well for me till now(Hope ki nazar nahi lag jaye abhi!!). Because though I do most of the downloads at the unlimited hours, if I see that by about 4pm I have many free data left, I download a few things to fulfil my quota(typical Indian middle class person!!).

If you are facing these problems, one of the 'jugaad' solution is to keep your big downloads paused and resume them before sleeping at night at about 2:10 am. Now set a switch off timer at about 4:50 am and switch on time at 4:51am and set it to 'everyday' option(if miui, go to security app, you'll find), which will save you from risk of exceeding 5am and using from 1GB!! If you use idm/uc browser for downloads, you can again resume them later...

This is how I use jio for heavy downloading, as at night, as I get 50Mbps speed at night...
Din mein lootne nahi diya to raat mein loot raha hoon jio ko!

I don't think jio is giving 50 Mbps speed it may give that once free period is over and consumers start paying according to the plan

Even i have a doubt too.
Then how am I getting such speeds? At night time, I consistently get such speeds.. During daytime, it comes down to around 15Mbps..

(Note: 50Mbps=50/8MBps=6MBps, and 15Mbps=15/8MBps=2MBps)....

Lagta hain samjhane ke chakkar mein aur jyada confuse kar diyalogo ko maine!!

According to article:
"Jio as having the highest average 4G download speed at 9.9Mbps with Airtel at second with 5.8Mbps. Vodafone, meanwhile, stands fifth with 4.2Mbps download speed."

Now,
Jio=9.9Mbps=9.9/8MBps=1.2375MBps
Airtel=5.8Mbps=5.8/8MBps=0.725MBps=725kBps
Voda=4.2Mbps=4.2/8MBps=0.525MBps=525kBps

Ab shayad clear ho gaya main kyakeh raha hoon.

Jab koi company kehta hain ki 100Mbps broadband deta hain, actually it is 12.5MBps speed.
Similarly, post FUP, you get 128kbps, which is actually 16kBps speed...
