But what he aims at doing is bring revolution in whatever sector he enters. So pitching in a traditional service against traditional service won't have much merit. They can't play only on pricing.

Jio has invested lot on Greenfield infrastructure only way to make it profitable is to use it for all possible ways DTH IPTV is one such use

There next venture related is providing software and IP support for small kirana stores to expand it's reach and visibility in digital space , they will provide platform and internet support on minimal price with online payment with jio money . They will provide credit for purchase from wholesalers to small kirana merchants .

DTH is just a rumour they are palnning for cable tv but as they have given ethernet port they must have some paln in future for IPTV. Also their main forte is internet they might launch cable with DOCSIS.
