HELP Just switched to Tata Sky from D2h. Help me with setting favorites.

Just now I switched to Tata Sky as Videocon d2h is continuously reducing the number of channels.

Now I am setting favorite channels in tata sky remote and it was giving option for only One Set of favorites. Videocon d2h allows 4 sets of favorites. Suppose I arrange like all telugu channels in set 1, all sports in set 2, all english news in set 3………Pressing red button opens set 1, pressing green button opens set 2…..

And also in D2h, if I press ‘18’ it directly plays 18th channel in favorites, if I press 42 it directly plays 42nd channel in favorites. This option is also not available in Tata sky I think. Or is there anything I’m missing here?

(Suppose HBO is in 42nd place in my tata sky favorites list, So I have to scroll through all 41 channels to see it?)

In Tata sky you can add total 50 channels as favorite.but in one set.channel number will star to 900.you can directly press the lcn number of your fav channel.suppose you have set star plus HD on 932 channel number.you can press 932 number in remote and star plus HD will come

Thank-you for icn number suggestion. This is definitely some relief for someone like me. But still a lot painful to manage all favorites in a single set.

And also there was no move option, unlike with D2h. Suppose i'm arranging all telugu channels from 1-10 and if a new telugu channel is launched and I want to place it in 11th position, I have to erase all favorites and start from scratch. Very painful.

yes.You can.just remove maa hd and tick maa tv.Maa tv will replace Maa HD.
