Just a month ahead of its release, actor Kamal Haasan’s trilingual Viswaroopam has generated much controversy over the actor’s proposal to release the movie also on Direct-to-Home (DTH) platforms.

But the price for DTH's are not reasonable....

a family of four if goes to theatre it becomes equal. A ticket cosrs rs.120 and then snacks cost min rs.100 calculate it, all are equal.

But ganesh bhai, 74 mm of Mega Screen and 40" of TV have huge difference.

And what is family is less than 4 ?

On the other side, theater owner fear is ridiculous. 90% of Theatre goers love watching in theatre irrespective of pricing. Its a kind of weekend hangout and enjoyment with family. For lovers, it the best place to spend time together. And for all those who don't go to theatre can enjoy it on DTH.
