That's my point.Maybe Sony and KBC are trying to encash this issue, but the fact is that the people of Haryana tend to think that way.Sex ratio has been improved due to the efforts if local govt and health dept. I appreciate then, but what about the way the people think ?

New Delhi, Sep 8: Reality game show “Kaun Banega Crorepati” (KBC), which was launched in 2000, welcomed its thousandth contestant recently.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has been hosting the show since its launch – barring the third season – introduced medical student Syed Murtuza Hashmi from Hyderabad as the 1,000th contestant on KBC, read a
statement. His brother Syed Mustfa had participated in the sixth season and had reached a payout of Rs.25 lakh, but after
giving the wrong answer, he went back with a smaller amount.

The Indian version of internationally popular “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” is currently in the eighth season and is aired on Sony Entertainment Television. Celebrities like
Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Rani Mukerji have made their appearances on the
ongoing season already.

The biggest quiz shows in India, Kaun Banega Crorepati 2014 enjoys a huge fan following. The format of the show and the legendary host, Amitabh Bachchan, have made a special place in the hearts of the viewers’ thus enjoying a loyal fan following. After the great response in Surat, KBC won over Raipur with a live event with the superstar host Amitabh Bachchan amidst thousands of citizens.The special episode will be telecast on Sunday, October 12 at 8pm on Sony Entertainment Television.

The event witnessed many performances. Manish Paul hosted the event leaving the audience in splits with his quick wit. The stars of shows Humsafars, Harshad Chopra and Shivya Pathania and Hum Hai Na, Pratyusha Banerjee and Kanwar Dhillon performed on the song ‘Desh Mera Rangeela’.
