Out of the box, the A6000 Plus is outfitted with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display. A phone of this size could easily weigh you down, yet the A6000 Plus was designed to be light and slim. It measures 140 x 70 x 8.2 mm in body dimensions and weighs just 129g. Rich in colour and sharp in resolution, the device’s HD screen is made for multimedia. It ensures that your video, games and images all appear clearer and more vivid. Plus, with in-plane switching (IPS) offering nearly 180 degree of wide-angle viewing, the A6000 Plus’s big, bright display is perfect for sharing photos or video with friends and colleagues.
On the camera front, the A6000 Plus packs in a 8-megapixel auto-focus with LED Flash rear camera. The front-facing camera is a 2-megapixel fixed-focus one. In my test-run, it was evident that the A6000 Plus’s rear auto-focus camera with LED flash captured sharp, clear photos and video. And, the front camera made video chatting easy and fun.
The A6000 Plus’s innards are also, more or else, upto date, starting with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-bit 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor that zips along in some of the other offerings from leading handset makers as well. It has 16 GB memory (expandable upto 32 GB microSD) for internal storage, which is decent enough for a budget smartphone. In terms of RAM, you’re looking at 2 GB memory. Android 4.4 takes system performance to a decent level by optimising memory and improving your touchscreen so that it responds faster. This means that you can listen to music while browsing the web, or even click on some of the apps.
