Shashi-Sumeet's upcoming new show on SONY
Shashi Sumeet Productions is all geared up for the launch of its uniquely presented tale of a small boy and his grown-up guardian cum wife in Pehredaar Piya Ki on Sony TV!!
However, as per the news coming to us, the production house is working simultanenously on another new project for Sony TV.
A complete contrast from Pehredaar Piya Ki, this show will be a combination of a family drama and youth story. It will show nuances and lifestyle of a traditional family and will also dwell on the college life of the youngsters in the house.
We hear that Randeep Rai who has done shows O Gujariya – Badlein Chal Duniya and Diya Aur Baati Hum will play the lead face in the show. Alongside with him will be a fresher Ashi Singh, who has done episodics so far.
As per sources, “The shoot of the show has commended in Ahmedabad with the youngsters. However, the main family is yet to shoot and the casting process in on.”
We reached out to Producer Sumeet H Mittal and also to the channel spokesperson, but did not get through with a comment.
This entertaining youth show is tentatively titled Ishq.

"Prithvi Vallabh" upcoming show on Sony

Sony Entertainment Television is gearing up to weave a spectacle on Indian television by telling the glorious tale of Prithvi Vallabh, the braveheart ruler of Malwa in Madhya Pradesh.
Sony has joined hands with one of the finest creators in the space, Aniruddh Pathak (writer of Mahakumbh, Roshni, Karam Apna Apna and also yesteryear bossman at Life OK).
Indianwikimedia has learnt that Aniruddh, under his production house Writers Galaxy, has already shot for the promo of the show which is expected to air soon on Sony.
The lead roles for the saga will be played by Ashish Sharma (Siya Ke Ram) and Sonarika Bhadoria (Mahadev). Ashish, a historical and mytho go-to man now, will play King Prithvi Vallabh. Sonarika is cast opposite her.
Ashish and Sonarika’s pair would definitely set screens on fire.

Om Sai upcoming show on Sony
The story of Sai Baba, if sources are to be believed, will again be told on Indian television.
Indianwikimedia has learnt that Sony TV, which currently is on a spree to beam historical and mytho shows, has commissioned a project to industry veteran Nitin Vaidya (ex Zee, Star India) to weave the life story of Sai Baba on small screen.
Says a source, “The show is tentatively titled Om Sai and will soon go on floors. Casting is still on.”
The project is at a nascent stage and more details are yet to filter out.
When we buzzed Nitin for a confirmation, he chose not to comment on the query.
Sony top boss Danish Khan did not revert to our message.
