Don't assume that Sena will get highest seats if they fought on maximum seats. They have been winning Mumbai Municipal polls since ages but still not able to maintain the city.

Also, No Bihari or South Indian will vote them. There are other parties also.

Alliance still in doldrums. Looks like RSS has played some behind the scene tactics to persuade BJP not to part with alliance.
If they could sever links with a 15 odd years alliance with Nitish in Bihar, they would have also done it with Sena as well, now that Modi wave is running high on their head.RSS definitely has applied brakes and that's the reason for the urgent press conference and announcement of alliance.

Sena never support BJP CM candidature. If BJP come forward as single largest party with winning seats then anything can happen in Maharashtra Politics. Because BJP in a mood of taking a revenge of Sena, & they will call NCP & MNS for support. This all will happen only for CM candidature.
