News Man gets snake as a gift

In a bizarre complaint with the High Grounds police, a Bescom employee on Wednesday claimed to have received a snake inside a parcel along with a threat. Police sources said the complainant, Angelin De Silva, claimed to have received a parcel at his office. On opening it, he was shocked to a find a snake slithering inside. There was a letter in Kannada warning of severe consequences if he continues a relationship with a woman, who was his colleague at the Bescom office in Tumakuru. He claimed the snake slithered away after he opened the parcel. De Silva was recently transferred to the Crescent Road division. He has named a suspect. A police probe is under way

Also there was a news about govt employees receiving the same gift for asking bribe in UP

Surprising that snake remained alive and courier companies are not scanning parcels. It could have been a bomb too.

There were small holes on the parcel for the snake to get air.

This would have done by localite and would have handed over to a courier guy to pass on the same to govt official.

Or may be he would have given some random guys few hundred to deliver it.
