Do not mislead members,there is no such conditions. I have proof for this, insat 3A launched on April 2003 with 12 years time span,after 13 years the satellite still have channels. Recently they shifted few channels to insat 4b,on your said conditions how this happens.
First grow up your self. Show the conditions you said.I am working in satellite field.I know better than you buddy.the availability of power resources depends on the life time.all time bound is how much power the satellite have got.that is the reason the lifetime is always written as Expected to 12 years.
