Videocon D2H has 10 million subscribers. If they increase package price by rupees 5 or 6 they can easily arrange 50-60 million. I think this much money is enough for adding 3-4 new Transponders and add all the HD Channels present in India. Not only that but also they will have no problem in adding forthcoming HD and popular SD channels in its launch date. Money is not a matter at all. Matter is d2h loves to give excuses and add carriage fee based crappy channels.

Carriage fees paid channels are much needed to balance the package prices but with new hd channels the prices are sure to go up and would be better if they introduce only hd packages with regional free top ups.

MMHD and asianet HD are also demanded in kerela state and d2h needs them to capture or maintain in the market.
Ofcourse it does.But if they require they can hire.Its not like they dont have space to hire more TPs.
On the other hand i heard TS has no more TPs left on GSAT.
TS ultra HD is 705 and DishTv Titanium is 713 so D2h is cheaper and can raise prices.

Not a matter if D2H hike Platinum HD package to Rs. 720 per month. They have to add atleast 15-17 new HD Channels. They should increase HD addon by Rs. 30-40 per month. The main thing is to add many HD channels.
Yes you should have different HD pack.But also people like me should get more HD channels if we are ready to pay more.
