Keeping its 15 out of 15 for the year in mind, Mercedes Benz has launched one more model in India, the AMG GT S. An improvement over the AMG GT, the new GT S model will be replacing the existing SLS AMG and is the German car maker's fourteenth launch of the year for the Indian market. The car has been priced at Rs 2.4 crore.
At the heart of the AMG GT S is a 4-litre biturbo V8 engine churning out 510hp and 650 Nm of torque between 1,750-4,750 RPM. The maximum speed of the car has been electronically limited at 310kmph. The Mercedes Benz AMG GT S can sprint from 0-100kmph in just 3.8 seconds. Mercedes has stated that combined fuel efficiency of the engine is 10.4kmpl. The GT S comes with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
