I don't think d2h's intentions were wrong behind such they just want to cut the man power, is it right that we call CC to know about our due date !! I think every mobile companies have a Customer Care Number and by following IVR we get all our account details they even charge 50 paisa for 3 Minutes to talk to executives 
then why DTH companies will assign CC for small reasons we needs CC when we really needed not to know Account Details.
