With the deadline for Phase III of digital addressable system (DAS) just a little over six months away, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has cleared 25 multi-system operator (MSO) licences. With this, the total number of MSO licences goes up to 194 in the country, as per the data provided by the MIB till 22 June 2015. All the registrations have been granted for a period of 10 years. Meanwhile, as reported first by TelevisionPost.com, Reliance Jio Media got provisional MSO licence.
