The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has granted permanent registration to three new multi-system operators (MSOs), thereby taking the total number of MSOs in the country to 115 as on 3 September.
The three MSOs who have been granted permanent registration are Sri Sai Star TV Services, Abhilash Communications and JPR Channel.
Sri Sai Star TV Services has received registration for Khammam district in Telangana.
Adilabad-based Abhilash Communications has got registration for DAS-notified areas of Phase II and III cities.
Mumbai-based JPR Channel has got registration to operate in DAS Phase I and II areas of Maharashtra and Gujarat.
