Service matters a lot to me because I have seen people struggling even in warranty period in case of product failure.........
Last year, I asked one question to both Samsung & Sony CC, to know about their service quality & as I was planning to buy a new TV.

I asked them that I want to know maximum downtime in number of days after which I would get a spare TV or replacement TV if the faulty TV set is under warranty.
That means if TV set becomes faulty within warranty period, then how many days it will take to repair the TV set?.............. Also if the time required to repair the TV is longer than a particular time frame then will I get a spare TV or replacement TV ?

I sent them email for this. I got a call from Samsung CC & the girl informed me that TV set repair depends on availability of spare & they cann't provide the timeframe. I said to her that this is not acceptable if the product is under warranty, as users are paying for warranty period also & that the spare arrangement / logistics is their problem. Here she flatly responded to me that I am free to go for any other brand.

When I raised the same question to Sony, CC guys forwarded my query to regional seniors. I got a call from Mumbai regional office & the lady informed that Sony will try to reapir the TV set in 13 days or else I will get standby Tv / replacement. I asked her to send me email for this but she sent only a generic type email.

So from all this I was naturally inclined to go for Sony.................

If you look at MMX specifications, they are not providing HDMI 2.0 so 1.4 will not be able to do the justice for 4K as there will be less frames. Refresh rate mentioned by MMX is 60 Hz which is very less for 4K

If you ask me it is better to wait for some more time as more and more Manufacturers will come up with 4K TV's at reasonable prices

I think by Diwali, prices of 4K TV will definitely come down. Also, till that time it will be clear what India gonna show in 4K.
