yes Sanjeev bro one year it will be activated and would get regular patches and updates but after one year you need to pay the license fee.

So its better for an old mobile user to keep using old OS if he is not ready to pay after one year.........

Now the things are more clear.......That means now onwards MS would go for yearly service based revenue model for new customers......

No Ninad bro , I feel after one year you would need to purchase the license to get the patches and updates. Or else it would show windows not activated with black desktop screen.

I think its a good option. They should make it free to everyone for one year and then they may charge it annually for updates and patches.

So it seems this service based revenue model is like a royalty paid to MS.......& it will become more costly in longer term.......& would increase profit for MS.........
