This is no doubt a massive task and naturally take time. At least thy paid heed to subscribers clamour being raised since last year. I think they deserve a chance.
Tata sky will replace all active mpeg2 stb as free of cost in 4 phase manner. 1 st phase is started and replacing stb with mpeg4 but this is region wise . First they are going to replace south people's stb and move some channels in mpeg4. So this is fix schedule and will take atleast 1 year.
Another good news but for south people, from sept onward south channel will be shifted in mpeg4 and new south channels will be added in that space. Currently stb's are replacing in south and some state of north so hindi, kannada and marathi user will get replacemet after this [ts expecting all south replacement by november] so in phase 1 and 2nd for south and north then 3rd for hindi, kannada and marathi and in last 4th they will call to deactive user to replace stb with mpeg4 and get some offer[he not tell me, what offer.]
This is all about MPEG 4 conversion! What about pending tps from GSAT 10?? Any news???
only some top official are know about fact, we only know if they speak, but may be isro official assure that they will done some arrangement in next few months thats why ts is silent on legal action but this only my prediction about gsat 10.Presently better to forget GSAT 10
Antrix the commercial wing of ISRO is plagued with stories of malfunctioning and litigation which is not encouraging! Let's see how TS tackles the issue.
