Actually cc dont know which is to be replace, its depend on field engineer, he will replace all thing which is needed if you have no power adaptor then will get new. They only doing our tv capable to view mpeg4 channels.

Those who are having old STB in Active state can get a call from the team dealing with the replacement by sending an SMS.

Send Y to 56633 and get the box replaced within 24 hours...

No sir, if the old stb have not adopter then they will change it other wise stb will be change, no provision of remote changing.
the packet will only have stb.

Justin its a sheer waste of money, dont send SMS. Just call customer care and demand for a MPEG4 STB free replacement, a WO will be raised and with 24 hrs your STB will be replaced.

Well i have a Update.
My re-scheduled time was today @2 pm but didnt done. [earlier talked CC Too but they assured of exchanging today itself]
so talked with Mangalore office. he gave me the contact number of Area Head . he said >
" From yesterday night Tatasky changed some coding and MPEG4 Boxes need to be codded again [back end issue as he said] . Thats y they stopped all exchanges ill those r codded again. there was issue earlier too inMPEG4 Box but now those has to be coded again. "
He assured me to change the Box may be tomorrow itself .Also said my local office is under Notice and will be scrapped and new office will be opened within a month .
BTW As per him the Box is "Thomson" branded.Also Only Box will be exchanged.
so waiting contnues....
