Yes but AR also decrease in CRT TVs for eg. Black Bars from Broadcaster end will be their in CRT TV also.

Tat depends on movie copy. Earlier days it used to known as CinemaScope.Correct said bro

Still we have to watch movies with black bars.
This is very frustratious
But, Serials are available in full screen.

Because serial produced according to channel.
Even HD channels having black bars in the movie, only one No Problem movie I saw in Zee Cinema HD was in full screen.

Its available in full screens if you bought Blu Ray you will get in full screen but no HD channel in India is 1080p.
