MTNL offers unlimited free local calling at night for landline, broadband users

The new offer is effective Friday.

"MTNL has decided to introduce unlimited free local calling for its landline and broadband customers (Combo) between 10 pm to 7 am to any network. The free unlimited calling facility is also available for Delhi MTNL landline customers to any network to Mumbai and vice versa during the same hours," the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The STD call charges have also been made local by making call charges rate at 180 sec/pulse, it added.

"It will be implemented with effect from May 1, 2015. These is aimed at providing greater value proposition to its esteemed customer," MTNL said.

New Delhi: State-owned telecom operators BSNL and MTNL are introducing free local calling at night for its customers to any network starting May 1.

"MTNL has decided to introduce unlimited free local calling for its landline and broadband customers (Combo) between 2200 HRS to 0700 HRS to any network. The free unlimited calling facility is also available for Delhi MTNL landline customers to any network to Mumbai and vice versa during the same hours," said MTNL in a statement.
