EntMnt Xclusive My new Hathway HD STB

Day before yesterday due to heavy lightning and thunderstorm in Pune there was voltage fluctuation. Because of that my Hathway HD stb got damaged.

So the Hathway person came and replaced it with new HD box.

Model No. HDS6300

This model is very sleek and small.

The best part of this STB is the UI. It is amazing.
The look and feel is too good.

how is its performance compared to the old one i guess the old one was model : HDS200.... quality/ menu / speed /features any special when compared to old one ? can u share some more pics of the box rear side connectors and the HD channels too

Even Hathway HD PVR has the same UI

It is recently launched n don't worry all HATHWAY UI will be changed soon spcly HATHWAY HD

I have been using Hathway HD PVR for about one year now. Only new boxes have this type of UI. Old boxes won't get this UI due to hardware limitation.

I see lot of good things being said about the "new" HD STB mfd by Skyworth, HDS6300. Am I alone in experiencing a 4-5 second response delay while switching channels? It is the same after Hathway (Bangalore) tried another
"new" HDS6300 in March 2016.

I wonder if the software is not so new because DIAGNOSTICS shows :

Hard to believe there has been no firmware update in last two years. I tried several times to install new software but each time, after a mind-numbing wait for 20 minutes, it says "unable to download.... try later"! If the firmware is upto date and requires nothing new to be downloaded, surely (as for Macs, PCs or smartphones) it can flash such a message after verifying the version in a matter of seconds rather than wasting 20 minutes trying to download what it does not need ?

Hello Guys help me out, recently i have been transfer from pune to Hyderabad, at my pune location i have hathway digital cable connection and i was using HDS6300 Box, i cleared all my dues and bought box to Hyderabad and connected to Hyderabad hathway service and now i have done factory reset because nothing was working, since then i could not able to proceed beyond SYSTEM SETUP ENTRY POINT. whats went wrong any one help me out.
