My New Tata Sky Connection - Help

Way ahead compared to d2h especially SD channels d2h sd channels was a total crap and no need to say anything about hd in Tata sky

You are comparing apple and oranges as such, 4k stb is much more superior than full HD

That may be the reason. Even i observed d2h hd channels are looking better than tatasky hd cahnnels on my LG Tv. I am also using 4k stb with uhd tv.
Then tatasky 4k box will give far better than d2h 4kbox..

Note : watched tatasky hd channels in LG showroom on same tv with default settings.

Yeah. It will eventually get normal for you. In the beginning you would feel it.
But the channel changing time is faster than d2h, isn't it ?

Guys, I have bought a new Tata sky connection & got it installed it today.

I was previously using Videocon -I found videocon pic quality was good than this.

just to confirm ,when i tested signal , Signal Quality was 60-70% & Signal strength is 70 % .

Please advise whether i am missing anything here.

I am using Sony Bravia LED W950 C model

Tofaan i am currently d2h user, and thinking about to switch to tata sky, is it really low pic quality than d2h, should i switch to tatasky or stay with d2h, i m confused now about the pic quality, plz tell me which is better in HD picture quality wise d2h or tatasky?

i have just posted in videocon section...
I connected both with two diff HDMI inputs & i found videocon colour +sharpness better than tata for south HD channels esp sun music HD.

for north HD channels , i couldn't find much difference . but tata was 51-49 ahead of videocon . u see , its just 2 points.

for sports channels , again tata was lagging - sharpness was a issue.

when changing the channles, tata hangs/pauses for a second. now using videocon itself & shifted tata to ground floor.


SD channels in tata looked better than videocon but not all.

technicians came twice & clarified and confirmed everything was okay. but most users are not complaining like this. i am really confused. but these are the inferences about my tata sky which i am using

Nothing can be 100%. And hence toofan seems to have got that 1% of Tata Sky which isn't good.

Tata Sky misses the sharpness in HD channels. Unfortunately tats the truth only and without sharpness HD channels lags anyway.
