As I see in past, TS always do better than D2H although D2h is first.......

It's good that they are updating it to all who have booked 4K boxes.

God know what is happening in Tata Sky. None from us booked there.

Many D2H users are buying UHD box because their HD box is crappy and buggy and they any how need a replacement

In other hand TS users are settled because they will miss DVR feature in UHD box hence no replacement

If so then its a very foolish step. If HD box is not upto marks, how came someone invest even higher amount for another product.

D2h boxes are buggy no doubt on that, some customers would have bought after knowing that these boxes are imported and hence no worries in future and also some are already future ready.

d2h old DVRs were also imported still they were having lots of bugs.

hardware quality of d2h's old DVRs is the best one like 4611..I can see very few low prioritized s/w bugs there being Quality person by profession which have been removed with new s/2 update recently happened

it's 4K era so there no place for below par h/w or s/w quality and most customer's are smart enough to evaluate on basis of it being d2h lover.
u must have realized by looking at catchy design of d2h 4K UHD STB and the transparent UI of firmware in pictures.
