I Got It Friends,

If I Connect HDMI Cable, Dolby Digital Audio Is Not Coming In HT,

If I Disconnect HDMI Cable, Dolby Digital Audio Is Coming In HT,

Vadirocks bro..I tried this yesterday. I will tell you what is happening..

--- When your HT as well as HDMI is connected and you switch the channel to Dolby Digital Sound mode then the sound from HT stop coming. But when you disconnect the HDMI the sound start coming from HT.

Actually as soon as you disconnect the HDMI the sound mode automatically changes to "Default Audio Hindi/English-Sound Mode 1" from "Dolby Digital Audio - Sound Mode 2". This is the reason.

You can confirm this thing by 2 ways:

1. Disconnect the HDMI and after getting sound from HT. Reconnect the HDMI and check the sound mode by pressing "Info + Yellow". It would have changed from "Dolby Digital Audio - Sound Mode 2" to "Default Audio Hindi/English-Sound Mode 1".

2. Disconnect the HDMI and after getting sound from HT. Change the channel to some other HD channel and press "Info + Yellow" button. And change the audio mode by navigation keys. You will find that you are getting sound only in one mode and that mode is "Default Audio Hindi/English-Sound Mode 1".

Please check and confirm.

as of now the only solution is converter or get new HT and Philips has stopped the production of Home entertainments so opt for other HTs.

Technoglitch bro.. Yesterday evening I found out a way and enjoyed the Dolby digital Sound from the same HT.:yahoo::yahoo:

I was having a cable with one end as 3.5 MM jack and other with two component cable (Red+White). Usually which we use to connect the mobile phone to HT.

I connected the Two component cable to the HT and inserted the 3.5 MM jack in the Headphone Slot in TV. And I changed the Audio mode for the channels to Dolby Digital for HD channels. And started getting Dolby Sound. The sound quality is awesome.

First time I heard Dolby digital sound from my HT for HD channels. Its really a different experience.:tv:

You need to connect your LCD (Full HD) Audio output to 2.1 Home Theater directly, since your SDHD 555 is already connected to LCD via HDMI port. With this you will get Dolby Digital Plus audio.[Don't give L & R O/P of 555 to 2.1 Home theater directly)

My Led TV don't have Audio Output Slots. what can i do..???
There is only a slot for Headphone.
And when i connect the Home Theater input with headphone output. The sound quality is not good. I have not checked whether I get the Dolby sound through this way or not.

yeah thats true as mentioned by Amit, LCD TV audio output is nothing but "Headphone" slot connect directly to HT2.1 and set speaker option ->> Ext speakers from TV and set DDP from HD STB and Enjoy the DDP experience.

not much you can get easily anywhere may be less than 50-75/- for 3.5 meter cable.[ i.e.TV Audio output->>Headphone jack slot ->>male single headphone jack I-P connector with L-R output at other side according to your speakerHT I/P slot.
